The Mahindra XEV 9e has achieved 5-star safety rating at Bharat NCAP. It scored 32/32 points for adult occupant protection and 45/49 points for child occupant safety.
In the front offset barrier test, the XEV 9e offered good protection to the head, neck, chest and lower body of the driver and passenger.
Dynamic tests were conducted with the use of child restraint systems. The XEV 9e received a dynamic score of 24/24 and a CRS installation score of 12/12. The vehicle assessment score was 9/13.
