Mercedes-Benz has launched the G 580 Edition One at Rs 3 crore (ex-showroom). Changes on the exterior include a gloss black front panel with an illuminated surround, reworked bumpers and a raised bonnet.
The interior is identical to the standard G-Wagon.
Powering the Electric G-Wagon arefour electric motors: 2 in the front and 2 in the rear, generating 580 BHP and 1165 Nm. It can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and has a top speed of 180 km/h.
It gets a 116 kWh battery pack, offering a range of 386 km on a single charge. It supports fast charging up to 200 kW.
The G 580 rides on independent suspension at the front and has a rigid rear axle. It has a low-range gearbox and a crawl function, as well as the G-Turn function, which allows it to rotate 720 degrees on the spot.
